About The Designer 

Taghrid elHage, a young entrepreneur at heart, graduated in 2006 with high honors from Esmod (Ecole Supérieure des Arts et Techniques de la Mode) in fashion design and in pattern making. She interned with various renowned Lebanese fashion designers and upon graduation, her interest in pret-a-Porter designs landed her the position of Head of Design Department for Sarafia Pret-a-Porter.

About Orkais, The Pret-a-Porter de Luxe Label 

In 2009, and at the age of 23, Taghrid decided to venture in her own Pret-a-Porter de Luxe Label “Orkais, a brand designed for the young woman seeking affordable designer's item in high quality fabrics and subtle, refined whole outfit. She debuted Orkais’ first fashion show in Dubai during the 2010 Arabian Fashion Week in “Paladium Media City”. In 2011 and 2012, she went on to expose Orkais to the international market where she attended the Salon de Pret a Porter in Paris and started featuring her designs in renowned boutiques and department stores in the Gulf and Middle Eastern countries, such as Mimosa Boutique in KSA, Amore Boutique in Abu Dhabi, Sposabella in Jordan, Qatar, as well as in Valencia, Torino, and Bucharest cities in the European Countries.

About Taghrid elHage, The Couture House 

After five years of experience of designing for private clients and international boutiques, she decided once again to venture in 2014 with her own Couture House under her own signature “Taghrid elHage”. Featuring bridal and evening lines, she applies her distinctive prêt-a-porter style to her couture dresses for a contemporary, confident and refined woman.
